(A dining session from the Hostel Dining hall of those days, from this page about hostel life. Since School + Institute strength was 700+, lunch would be separated into school separately and Institute separately. Breakfast and dinner were together, but people would come eat and go over the hour-long session. This is probably some special occasion, since in those days white clothes were not mandatory for dining sessions.)
Wrote letter (home). Wasted evening*. P, who had borrowed my sweater during sports meet program practice, had lost it. When I went to ask him for it, Rammohan sir directed me to an MSc boy who had seen a sweater in the room where Swami's things are kept in the Hostel. Today I recovered it from there.
*Teenaged me was quite self-critical as well as critical of others, and wanted everything to be "ideal". Time waste is Life waste, don't waste time, etc.
