Condensing multiple days into a single page, since the content is limited.
1992-07-12 - Sunday - (We are) free to eat all (the items available at the) canteen at concessional rates. Devotees have no canteen, only fast-food stalls (due to the festival rush, and because the "new" two-storey canteen building is under construction). We have the same food, inside Shed No. 12. Parthi Hostel has improved. Swami is talking to boys. Vibhuti coming from a boy's photo, 1st year CBZ.
1992-07-13 - Monday - Took bath from Institute, tried from school, but bathrooms were locked. (This is because, in those days, the "Old Hostel" had only two bathrooms per floor - 6 bathrooms for the 250 or 300 Brindavan boys. People would start bathing from 2:30 or 3:30 AM, but obviously even that was not sufficient.) Swami gives darshan at the balcony after evening bhajan, also once or twice around 12:30 PM. Got racquet, blanket - T. M. Gopalakrishnan (III yr) brought and gave. (He is distantly related to me from my mothers' side, a nephew of the Eradi brothers.) Sleeping in Mandir grounds on the concrete, woken up at 4 by the Mandir in-charge. Parthi is very hot, showers make it sweltering, worse than in May.
1992-07-14 - Tuesday - Gurupoornima. Gurustotram, Gurupaduka stotram and music program. Swami said Chala Bagha - very good. Rajesh and Kshitij were also playing, of course. Laddus distributed to all. Swami laid foundation stone for Buddha statue on Pavangiri. Evening discourse was terrific - Swami elaborated on qualities of Guru from the shloka Brahmaanandam Paramasukhadam... explaining each word. Vijaya Sai and Anil Kumar Sir had spoken (before the Discourse. This video has their talks + the Discourse). Swami said Nurses' training school starting tomorrow, praised Indian doctors and said they needed encouragement.
