1992-09-08 - Tuesday - Darshan time, Swami saw our (Brindavan Kerala students - around 20-30 in number, I guess) card with Mahabali. Then told us, "Sunday interviews!" (?!) Suddenly, at 8.15, called us in - "Onam group" with Anil Kumar Sir. Swami was talking in Telugu throughout to Anil Kumar Sir, could understand. Swami talked about the Kalyanamantap inauguration, praised PM "Narasimha Saarvabhauma", said must act properly - seed of future. 1 hour. Couldn't record as didn't take recorder. Canteen by Dasprakash. Why Brindavan loss? Told PM - for bandhs, deposit needed for damages.
1992-09-09 - Wednesday - Thiru Onam - Sat on 1st row concrete at Omkaram, continued programs as usual.

Evening programs would be in the Poornachandra.)
Distributed sweets - Swami beckoned - so (went inside the interview room and beyond and) so saw inside rooms - tiny. Later shifted surge guard to Poornachandra so saw its inside (backstage) also - rotating stage. Waited after lunch - entered Poornachandra first at 3 pm, got place near Swami's mat. Parthi boys occupied place of boys gone for tea, so (it was a tight) squeeze. But was near Swami for program. Speakers asked Swami to come to Kerala in 1992 - Swami avoided it in Discourse, said "Lucky Keralites". SriSailam program was OK, dragged Kalari, so Swami sent Natarajan (the State President of the Sai Org in Kerala at that time) to stop it. Balcony darshan. Went to (Parthi) Hostel, talked with Shailesh Sir for 1 1/2 hours. Mandir lamps - Mani sami.
1992-09-10 - Thursday - School boys had had spiritual exhibition in B floor (of School) cutting classes - Swami stayed for 1 1/2 hours, musical lights - 3 channel with same bridge, along with "Why fear" sung by boys in C4. Swami talked to 280 boys, exhibited for 3 days, all came. Dr. Bhatia of SSSIHMS comes 2-3 times a week to Hostel, Parayanam (narration of Sai experiences), terrific. Swami is lifting up Parthi campus. (Probably all this was narrated by Shailesh Sir). Shailesh Sir gave a letter for Singh and Kshitij. Morning Swami talked to Sandeep, "Veettukaariyude per enna?" (roughly translated, "What is your wife's name?" This is usually what Swami would ask to pull the legs of young boys.) Took Siva Prasad letter from me. Telling A3 stories. Read "Sai Baba Avatar". Sitting in first lines with Swami talking every day.
1992-09-11 - Friday - Swami said go at 3 (PM) on Sunday. Gopi Sir (Brindavan Physical trainer) said no bus at 3, so 6 AM bus, agreed. Swami asked a boy about letter from home of proposals - grandmother insists. (Probably pulling his leg.) 2 padanamaskars - Swami cut across me and went. Went to help Dilip Choudhry, saw staircase to Swami's room (which was on the first floor of the Prasanthi Mandir in those days) and store room. Terrific feeling, all desires fulfilled. Reading "A Brief History of Time", Stephen Hawking. Achan (Father) fever, to drive tomorrow, A3 (parents and sister) told me to write to Swami and also mention it. Went with Sandeep (our former neighbour at Calicut) to Sai Selections (a shop outside, to which in those days students were allowed to go with permission). Good selections of Mandir bhajans.
1992-09-12 - Saturday - Morning, Swami called us in, talked in general to questions, talked to Sandeep of Father's depression, said Achan's fever no problem, vibhooti packets. A3 left after giving me Bombay devotee's photo vibhooti, sweet, adakka (arecanut) smell. Evening Swami gave Sandeep + Gopi Sir interview; (gave them) ring, watch respectively. Fluent English / Spanish / German (to other people in the interview room).
