Slept (nearby where) DRK (sleeps), so didn't get wet. Then slept 4-5:30 in Hostel, dream - Swami came, also seva dal inside Mandir as Swami was sleeping there? (That was in the dream. In those pre-Sai Kulwant Hall years, the darshan grounds were open to the elements. So, if we slept there, we would get wet if it rains. The non-wet options were either inside the Old Hostel itself, or on the portico. Both these places were quite crowded. The mantaps at the back of the darshan area near the coconut tree were another option, but if rain was accompanied by wind, that area would also be quite wet.)
The first IA (Indian Airlines commercial) flight came (to Sri Sathya Sai Airport from Mumbai/Chennai). 40 (passengers) for Bangalore, 30 alighted here. President S. D. Sharma came, Swami was cool to him, only 15 min talk, after that told him to go back, then He talked with Krishna Kant, Andhra Governor. During bhajan, SD was sitting in VC's place (ie. directly opposite the interview room door) on a chair.
