1996-08-29 - Thursday - So, slept till till 7 - tho' told Vijayanand I would sit with him for tomorrow's seminar, 6.30 to 7.30 am. Maths program (probably during the 1st hour, Moral class, in the college Auditorium) – sort of panel discussion with costumes of unity of faiths. OK, some Kotlus. (Kotlu was hostel speak for malapropism, extended to any mistake.)
A3 took suitcase full of stuff & gave books from Muthachan (maternal grandfather) - original articles on Mechanics etc. - Physics reader. Arranged cupboard during study hrs (after half an hour breaking head with Vijayanand over Alkali atoms).
1996-08-30 - Friday - Patnaik & Brahmo (II MTech students, were) sick, must get deionized & distilled water before Monday, Hospital maintenance has weekends off… So, KL-11 B-2991 (meaning that I took parents' car for getting the deionized water from SSSIHMS, which had that registration number - it was a cream-coloured Maruti Omni). 10.30 to 12 waited for A³ outside (Ashram room) S4-B4 (actually they were in S5-B5). Finally, all over by 1.45. Achan (Father) drove me back from Mandir, lunch from Hospital. Afternoon S⁴ didn’t come, so bath…
