1992-11-24 - Tuesday - Swami may go to Delhi in March - told S. D. so. (SD here is the President of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma). S. D. not in Rashtrapati Bhavan, waiting for Swami to come. After morning bhajan + balcony darshan, went to meet Shailesh Sir with Kshitij, on pretext of buying photos. He was at school, cleaning lab - helped. Then bought ice creams for helpers and for Sir also - later he paid for the XII boys, I didn't allow him to pay for himself, me and Kshitij. Amar Singh could talk to Shailesh Sir yesterday, today Rajesh Singh also, in Bhajan Hall, lots of advice.
Swami had started asking us (Brindavan boys) to leave yesterday itself, buses booked for tomorrow morning 10:30 AM after early lunch. Swami was saying (that He) will cancel Birthday (just as He) cancelled Jhoola, as (it causes) problems for devotees.
1992-11-25 - Wednesday - Swami came out and said, "Bangalore boys! Go inside, prasadam." After interviews. Swami gave (us) padanamaskar, Narasimhamoorthy Sir (who was Brindavan Warden at that time) gave 3 (vibhooti) packets each. Swami told Jain Sir to take laddoos before leaving, said He will come in the first week of December for opening the shed (later named Sai Ramesh Hall). After Bhajans, quick meals, loaded, left by 11:30. Misunderstanding over Jaikar near Primary School (and Institute) during Bhajans (in the bus), but no unpleasantness. Brought back broom and water bucket as instructed, classes from tomorrow. Brindavan is very cold compared to almost hot Parthi, sweater essential nights and morning.
1992-11-26 - Thursday - Bhangra + "E Malik Tere Bande Hum" for opening of shed. I plan to take part in long distance running + quiz for Sports Meet, starting road running from Sunday. Dr. Doraisamy Iyengar (veena) + daughter (tanpura) + mridangam gave performance for an hour in Moral hour, he was impressed by our silence. English - Electives next year - whole year course. This semester's books yet to come. Sanskrit - started off fast. Bhajans are quite lively now. Three English zero hours in a week.
