Photo for the events of the day before Sai Ramesh Hall inauguration, as written in this post for 4th Dec 1992.
Condensing multiple days into a single page, since the content is limited.
1993-01-01 - Friday - Morning marching practice, evening combined program. We - synchronized marching - muffed as we had never heard our music before. Read "To Kill a Mockingbird". Night - searched for photos in Institute library (for drama) with Amar Singh + Harshavardhan. Slept early, felt very sleepy.
1993-01-02 - Saturday - 6:30 to 9 AM, then 3:30 to 5:30 PM combined practice. Because we hadn't practised with music, synchronized marching was a flop. Then, "you let him down". Marching is faster than the music, sure to flop terribly. Finished off "Oliver Twist", after 2:30 to 2:55 AM stint. Wrote letters to A3 (parents and sister) and Machettan (paternal uncle) who sent card.
1993-01-03 - Sunday - Gopi Sir justifying his anger at S. Arun. Run down after 9 to 12 practice, postponed by fog.
Notes: (at the rear of the 1992 diary)
Shailesh Sir's birthday - May 19th
Shirdi Sai's birthday - September 27/28, 1836/38.
(as mentioned in this Discourse.)
Unfortunately, the 1993 main diary was not found at the time of typing out these posts - 5th August 2023. As and when that diary is found, I can add more contents to 1993. The entries above are from the last pages of the 1992 diary.
An interesting note. The end-quote of the 1992 diary is the "Where there is Righteousness in the Heart" quote. In this video, there is a portion near the 4 minute mark, where the UPSC exam 2019 question paper is seen with this quote attributed to APJ Abdul Kalam! Probably taken from one of his speeches or books after he came here.... Screenshot below.
