1994-01-09 - Sunday - soldering etc

From my "Swami album" of photos purchased in the early 1990s.

Morning darshan borrowed "Chandrasekhar and his limit" from 1st year Balaji, read during the day. I didn't attend morning torch drill, as I was sent by S. G. Sir (Sai Giridhar Sir) to Physics lab to solder some silk wire to Phono pins - 6 of them - meant for transformers for the eight Peavey speakers. They're using the 250W SSA 250s, two of them. 30W to each Peavey speaker, actually peak capacity is 83W. In the lab, saw MSc boys preparing microprocessor-controlled macro LED display, 1x8 foot, "PRANAMS" etc running across. Some bearded consultant - "Sir". After my work, practice was also over, so shifted amps and speakers to Hostel car, to College Room No. 6. I had been called by S. G. Sir at 8:10 as I was going for practising fire-drill, finally returned after one o'clock as I had to search for "Chandra and his limit" book and my cap. Searched in the pit - ATP was practising - not there. Finally found them in Phy lab.

Again, night - torch drill with fire was supposed to be held. But cancelled, as Parthi macro screen came on the ground, blocking us. So, after waiting 2 hours, seeing part of Parthi program in the bargain, returned. Whenever I reach the room, A3 (parents and sister) are sleeping! Their routine is to wake up, wake me, feed me. Breakfast 5:15 AM, tea 2 PM - bakery items + thick Amul milk.
