Today seems to be a throw-back. No suprabhatam as slept again, again a narrow escape, then a "self-test" where the conscience lost as wasn't woken up by Suprabhatam. Cloudy from morning. Set up Physics lab after reading "Car & Driver". Afternoon slept. Rain. Heavy. Umbrella. S. G. Sir gone to city, returned late. So, Nandagopal Sir.
Swami was inside the AVR when I returned after putting the monitor (onstage). Took mics, hustled Chaitanya to do the same. Then, Swami went in. No music as MAIN sliders were down. Luckily noticed only after I mistakenly put on harmonium thinking bhajans started, when only tabla tuning. So, first sound that came was Omkar - direct bhajans. Later, I went and stood near changeover switch with umbrella, Swami went in with big colour 'brolly. No Trayee session.

Read "Popular Photography", ate Prema pies, mango at dinner unripe. Didn't serve dinner - felt out of place. Not satisfactory day.
