Though woke at 4 yesterday with Vishnu's help, didn't study much. Today, as Vishnu slept (he came after work at Prayer Hall at 12.30 in the night), I slept, too (till 5 AM). Didn't study at all in the morning - took too much time over daily routine. Shailesh Sir also + Shiv Shankar Sai Sir (whose letter Swami read yesterday), etc.
Morning - put Peavey speakers on stools on gents' side, as had been taken out by construction workers. Roofing, flooring, over on gents' side, too. Finishing left. When Swami came, horn at the end wasn't working. Mic 2 ladies' side very faint. Power failure - so I went by the changeover switch. Swami looked at me standing there while going in. Breakfast, before all this, thought came that room meeting to "follow Swami" must be held, especially after yesterday's Sampath-Kasi confrontation. Morning news - Swami said no evening darshan (as there is work going on), all go home. Seva dal stayed and worked (bhajans concluded with arati instead of continuing till evening as was the practice on Sundays).
Evening confusion. Boys thought at least Trayee session. But when Swami came out, S.G. Sir and the three of us were there - came onstage, gave Seva dal (men) padanamaskar, snapped at Warden, "How can I call boys? Are they special or something?" and went in.
Struggled one hour to put Peavey speakers back. Finally, Chaitanya did it. Group bhajans in Hostel. Told Sairam about room meeting, SSSir had told him comments on lack of leadership, too. S. G. Sir sanctioned 125 (amplifier) for prayer hall - 45 (amplifier) too much hum.
