In today's education, if not Dhaarmika and Aadhyatmika, (righteous and spiritual) at least Naitika (moral) should be there. Nita - good conduct. What is good? That when done to you, makes you happy. If not help those who harm, at least don't harm those who help. Or else you will get the same fruit in the future.
Discrimination (between right and wong) exists in man, conscience, divine. But you suppress it by shouting, "My wish, why should I care", and go by bylanes, due to fear. Mistake leads to fear. But God-given titles are not so - and the title is, "Amrutasya Putraah" (children of immortality). Though animals are also out of Him, He has put the ability to know specially in man. Man has been given utkrishta, saujanya, sausheelya - blamelessness, good birth, good conduct. So, when born, no troubles. Later, due to company, abhimana mamakara, gaurava maryada, later when goes to learn, krodha, ahamkara and adambara come before learning. So no scope for good to enter! Teachers, Parents, God are ignored, "I am best" feeling.
Ego is really madness - sees dung as mud. Wisdom also sees unity, gold and mud the same, but in a good way. When a pit is filled with water, madman sees unity - no difference between pit and hill, falls in and is drowned. The only difference between that and a wise man - knows swimming.
Vignana is different from Science. Scientists are only "Why" jnanikas - keep doubting. Vignanika asks only once, with Viveka - gets reply which is ever new, doubtless. Why jnanika doubts - splitting atom scared 50 years back, today trying to split more and more. Why? If know already that everything is made of atoms as Vignanikas did, why go on and on?
Saint is doubtless, Scientist is doubting. Scientist - keeps testing. Whole life is spent in getting knowledge, when do you practice? Eating is the fulfilment of cooking. What is the use otherwise?
When this body was 9 years old, Pera Raju held a competition, poetry I wrote, "When you have mirror and can see yourself, why need another friend? When the moon shines in the sky, why another light to see it by? When Aadhyaatma is the subject, why a guru to learn it?" Joking to Pera Raju, used to say, you are Peru Raju - namesake king - I am real Raju.
