A photo from the 1970s or early 1980s, from Sathya Sai Speaks - Building a Sacred Future Through Our Children
After a long sleep with woollens 7:30 to 4:45, felt refreshed. Op-amp mixer work till afternoon. Kumar Bangarappa gave You a flower yesterday - (or was it yesterday? I don't remember.) I am writing a week's quota on 26th.
Evening - You came inside (our amplifier room) - Sridhar was with us - gave both of us a weak smile, but I couldn't smile back as feverish.
Called "Sai Girdhar" - small boy, 12 years old, Ravi Kumar sir's sister's son. Talked a lot - questions ranging from 'the Government of China' to 'cost of vegetables' to 'how do you know Swami is God'. Poor fellow was caught on "See TV - then you will see an aunty coming and saying hello, hello. Aunty - not bad." Couldn't reply.
Many things, like - "Aren't you worried when talking to Swami?"
"No, when I am talking to You, it is as if 20,000 ice cubes in my head."
"How is hostel food?"
"Fantastic."
"How are the teachers?"
"They are ideals, Swami."
"Who is the best?"
"All."
"Worst?"
"None."
"Whom do you like better, Swami or Rama or Krishna?"
"Swami."
"Why?"
"I have not seen them - they were forms of Swami." etc
Felt very unstable, almost like my head was spinning - so, spread bed and covered myself. Headache too.
(Incomplete line) "Yesterday, Akhilesh was saying his cousin didn't...."
