Kept busy. Afternoon read Asimov - "The left hand of the electron". Morning, scrambled to fix new mic stands + hostel mics, as mixer hasn't yet come (back after repairs). Evening, Swami called teachers into Trayee. I sat reviewing cassettes in AVC. Ran around to find S. G. Sir for Warden. Night prayer started (meaning that the night prayer has started being played from the PA system again after the vacations), morning 4:30 first bell! (that's earlier than usual, due to the Summer Course coming up, and the limited number of bathrooms.)
I'm following isolationism - being in AVC (the Audio Visual Committee room in the Hostel) most of the time, insulated from the crowd (- all the students of all the campuses would be congregating at Brindavan for the Summer Course). Today also, no Trayee session. Swami talked to Justice Eradi, V. C., etc.
Nagaraj was telling me that no one bothers what the MSc Phy boys used to do, as they would go (to Phy Dept) at 8 am and come at 8 pm.
Red BMW for Swami - stood outside Trayee in the morning - Swami got in and it was driven 20 feet, stopped. After interviews, You went for a spin in it - no licence plates yet.
Image of the BMW on another occasion, possibly at Brindavan college auditorium, from this page.
Sri Sai Surendranath (Sai Sir) can be seen in the background.

And, of course, the iconic image of Swami leaning on the BMW - from this page.
