1995-11-26 - Sunday - driving to Calicut

1995-11-24 - Friday - Usual schedule as above (as on the previous day). Latest schedule for departure - Achan (Father) mentioned 9:30 am tomorrow. Suggested Sunday. On reflection, he changed to 26th, morning 4 am. 

Meeting at Auditorium - all boys - Wardens and Principals - 'Come back in one piece' (with reference to the students going for Winter Vacation). BNN jokes. S⁴ & KLNS strict. USR usual soft. (These were the Wardens and Principals of Brindavan and Parthi - B N Narasimhamurthy, S Siva Sankara Sai, K L N Swami, U S Rao). Lots of cake (from the various Birthday cakes presented to You) - ate cake for dinner as no one wanted. Packed undies etc in plastic cover for home - books main.

You gave vibhooti packets to many guests who were going. To some, "Going?" No, Swami. "Lazy." - helping others to leave? You called Wardens in the morning, meeting at 10:30 for all, (behave well). Evening again called them, then saw Brindavan 10 foot "card" with bird, message curtain, motors. Told Wardens drama "Chaala Baagundi" (very good), complimented on peaceful (gents) Narayana seva.

1995-11-25 - Saturday - Achan and others got padanamaskar. Got my GM (out of focus) photo, also Raja Ganesh's (Bioscience classmate up to BSc) (Sai Jyoti) (photo studio). Washing mat etc. ready to go.

Still overflowing with Your love. Padanamaskar evening gents sevadal + doctors, morning all Punjab lady sevadal saris! Balcony darshans, too! "Thought for the day" gives warnings - "Discriminate", "Believe in yourself", etc. Since "God's pauper" is also here, maybe I shall pull through. Shouldn't doubt. Must do.

1995-11-26 - Sunday - 3:15 am Prashant + alarm clock woke. 4:15 car - Achan was waiting. 4 pm reached Calicut. Mani Sami to Chalapuram Samiti. Washed car.

Oh Yes. Drove most of the way home. Achan only drove the beginning parts & Bangalore - symbolic of our respective wishes that I go home? Achan was relaxed - sat in back seat after Bangalore! But he was tired - dropped off, so let me take the wheel after 90 minutes from Parthi...

Washing the car after reaching - showing off my stamina? Also lightning visits to neighbours - Shanti Chechi's kid chewing half Parthi laddoo, not even sitting down at the Nambiars'. Felt rude - their friendly gestures overthrown by "Harikku car kazhukanam" (Hari needs to wash the car)!
