1995-12-09 - Saturday - Sleeping in the afternoon. Night Superman movie - went with Shailesh Sir to new Hostel to see his room & mod kitchen. Slept by 9:45. Record-writing darshan time.

Shailesh Sir came to me and started talking about his research! You told him (interview) 2 days back, Lasers, not computers! So, 3rd time topic change. "Chesko Chesko Chesko" (Do, do, do) when he had shown "SIMPLE" synopsis (the first topic's synopsis). "You and I may end up doing research together" - started off desire. (Twenty years later, I would become his first PhD student.)

1995-12-10 - Sunday - Slept from 10:30 to 1:30! BRN (Brindavan campus students) left after Poornachandra photo session (only BRN) ~ 11:45 am. 1996 Diary. Work night.

UCR60 (amplifier with tape deck) stolen from EHV building - Central Trust will replace. Unisound 75 instead. Prof & KVR left us free. S4 rambled, intro started. Prof gave homework. Fiber polishing in the afternoon. Prof. Sharma's send-off tomorrow - got stuff (Satya, FC) + card + laminated photo. Cupboard d-floor also books. Bucket goes to bathrooms.

1995-12-12 - Tuesday - A break (in diary writing, I guess) of 3 days, with external reasons, for 13 & 14. Prof. Sharma sendoff - went with Vishwanath Sir to FC ("Foreigners' Canteen", as the Western Canteen was known in those days) for noodles & cake, to his house in Chitravati road, to a shop on the way for samosas, bejois.
Nagaraj abstained from the revelry - correct? Vishwanath Sir's ideas contrary to Yours, but I guess to keep quiet was advisable. Acrimony with him would only complicate things. So, I happily hammered noodles, samosas.
