1995-12-21 - Thursday - Mono-acting, GV, Narendra Ailawady, C++. Giving key to Shailesh Sir after Bhajan, got it (Auditorium key) from him morning 6:30 (they had practice at night). Went to (Hostel room) A4 to ask Sathya (classmate) QM (Quantum mechanics) doubts. Saw "QM users' manual" - good book. Sat there - Raja Ganesh (former classmate in Bioscience) came on one-month holidays - all slept by 10.
Bad habit of going to (Hostel room) A4? Ravi Kiran asked me, "You're lonely there, aren't you?" No meditation - all rooms lights came on. Felt a little on the road to improvement - wake up at 5 tomorrow etc.
When other do things & trick teachers etc (GV Rao Ailawady graph) I smile ⇒ I condone it. Wrong attitude, isn't it? But how to correct? Shailesh Sir was also smiling when a boy took 15 minutes to lace his shoe so that he finished when others returned ...
1995-12-22 - Friday - Finding NA (Numerical aperture) of fiber - shake is affecting intensity badly. So, doing at night. After dinner, till 9:30 pm, with P. Sathya. Bungled - instead of every 0.3 mm, took every 0.03 mm for ~200 readings! Thereafter every 30. (Access to Physics lab was using) S4's key.
"I don't know."
"I don't remember."
"I don't know." - like the CVD doctor said in the conference. Five days have gone by (and I had not written in this diary, so I've forgotten what had transpired.)
1995-12-23 - Saturday - KBR said do whatever you want, and went for drama practice. KVR, too. Played around with a power supply & a function generator. Afternoon - Mr. Ailawady, who we thought would cross 501 OKs (Lara's record) - scored just a measly 325. (These were the number of times he said, "OK" during his lecture.)
Much water has flowed under the bridge of 23rd Sat - "File Not Found". (Meaning that I don't remember what transpired, to write in the diary).
1995-12-24 - Sunday - Went to lab with S4's key & struggled with microprocessor board's editor. Night, after drama Sai Kulwant hall with Mr. Naren Ramji, arranging stuff for tomorrow. Dinner at 9. Ramakrishna's (senior) idea of Foldback (FLB) driving monitors - good - only keyboard, guitars, piano.
Mixing Far Near's (pun on "foreigners" which You used to use) carols was tough for Naren Sir as guitars kept popping out of singer mics. Spanish, Italian? songs. Ate Your bounty in sweets, too. The drama by children of 63 countries - very jazzy, unlike earlier years? Or is my view jaundiced? And in the end, when You went up and started giving all of them cakes packed in cardboard cartons, they were raking up tinsel from the floor & throwing at You! Some were busy playing with the balloons.
