1996-01-20 - Saturday - Started the rigorous life partly by not thinking about Pizza, also study hours QM (Quantum Mechanics). Maugham's short stories with I. Ravi Kiran (batchmate, was my cupboard-mate in XI) all about a spy Ashenden, so not so gripping.
S4 decision - the only way the drain can get the money is, me as an inmate of the Hostel getting it done. "No tax benefits". If your father is so keen ... that's the line.
1996-01-21 - Sunday - After a little QM, slept 11 to 3 with a break for lunch. Study hours QM again. Bought "Life is a Dream, Realize it" from stores. Room boys sleeping early - felt like hugging all of them.
(Selfish) sorrow at Your leaving (tomorrow for Brindavan) - more than ever before.
1996-01-22 - Monday - Last day of sleeping late? Satya told me, "All boys say your alarm is disturbing them". So, today onwards I'll sleep in the dining hall. Ramzan will be holy ... But dining hall was full, plus mosquitos - so, B-floor terrace. As cold as Brindavan winter with room windows open.
Shailesh Sir's very busy with XII, Primary School XII, X every day q. papers ... so his research reading suffers. Siva Sankara Sai Sir room-leaders (B-floor) meeting in the prayer hall (C-14). Same things - cho chweet.
