Muthachan (maternal grandfather) "persuaded" (he says he agrees to whatever people ask him to do nowadays) to come (to Calicut) by Wednesday's flight. So, Ammamma + Achan + Amma (maternal grandmother and parents) + driver (I) to Calicut at 7 am after breakfast. Slow and steady (60 kmph) ⇒ Achan OK. Water I/O at Mandya and Gundlupet, food at former and under a tree packed lunch of chapati + potato. Went to meet Anch (sister) at Medical College HSQ (probably House-surgeons' quarters) directly. Then, after I/O again at canteen, (not me), SM Street for Sivakumar Sir's watch strap (Rs. 35/-) + my SRS (bus ticket to go to Bangalore later tonight) reservation. Test drove the Maruti 1000 (our new car, which would later be gifted to Anch) in the driveway of our house (finger-touch brake!). Then, after bath, drove her to Gokulam, Mavoor Road for dinner, then to Kallai Road, boarded (bus to Bangalore), A2 went back.
