You came (to the Stadium) at 7:20 - Jeep chariot driven by V. Srinivasan. Satya(jit) behind. Half-way, a jerk. Commotion. You fell? Again continued. Near the turn, You sat. 7:30, after lamp, marchpast up ramp from turf to road, flag-hoisting. Then programs, Primary School, ATP, BRN, PSN. You had to come all the way for group photo with each! 4 times! For PSN & BRN You used the front steps. You'd told boys not to come for photos (to Mandir after the program in the Stadium) so only escorts and the band was there. Annam reports, You stood, "Camera?" No one had! Finally Satya(jit) ran and got. Arati, went in. When came out, ignored boys who had come, photos for ATP escorts & band (playing Pyaare Sai Hamare) - they clicked with their 'point-and-shoot' cameras.

Evening, came (to the Mandir) at 3.50. One family interview till 4:45. Then, came straight as an arrow along the 2nd step where I was sitting, looked at mat beside me, at me, stepped down, continued fast to garage, ATP devotees (some twenty of them) inside. Told something to ladies too.

Primary School program was less attractive than usual. Still, good. Penguins and chickens repeat? Also, ethnic dance. Butterflies / angels was nice. 'H.A.P.P.Y. We are happy, why not try' was beginning and end, 'Pyare Sai Hum Tumhare Liye' for final formation. ATP's was better than usual. Yogasanas on poles, Karate, bamboo dance, motorbike stunts as fillers. Final formation was good - lotus supported by Karate girls. Their band played Arati. BRN gymnastics with Jain Sir jumping through fire, roman rings, parallel bars, Karate, (Sticks), all marching in with band, Arjuna/Krishna cutout. PSN+School gymnastics was innovative - two groups "fighting" over a road, a policeman "trying to restore order". Karate, "wan-chaku" etc. ending with medley - huge stilts, juggling. You gave trophies onstage before walking down for group photos, so runners-up no prize distribution! I was standing at rear end of VIPs gallery with Rajesh P.
