2022-12-03 - Reflections on fulfilling wishes

Yesterday, I took a day off, just like I did last Friday. This act of "taking a break", without being ill myself or to tend to Mother, was after many months. I wanted to see how easy or difficult it would be for me to drive to Bangalore (and BLR airport) to pick up / drop my sister. The "taking the day off" was only for the morning/afternoon, since in the evening I was back to doing planetarium / SSSVV work.

But the point is: You are arranging things so that even small wishes like these are granted. "I give you what you want so that you will want what I have come to give." Usually in my case, even without asking. This may be something like (Swami Sivananda?) getting rid of tendencies by sating them - the instance for example, where he asked for a huge amount of payasam and drank it all, to get rid of the craving for payasam.

The tech blog has technical details of the dashcam used during the trip. Embedding below a timelapse of the six-hour drive.
