1995-06-02 - Friday - Jogged alone one round. Zero hour - CJMR didn't turn up, so KS took. Then, Anand Brahmo, Practicals list in Optics. AV also busy. Awareness program - KS wants to do his own course. "Escaped" - spiritual course - in his own words! Library till evening - English Literature, Maya in Physics, Practicals notes. Got chairs (at the Hostel) - better than BRN! BRN Rasam is much better. Also curries. Rs. 3 Mango juice at "Chill Spot." (This snacks and drinks sales counter used to be under the stairs next to the General Stores, in the South-Western corner of the Hostel). New lock (for spare key). Paid Rs. 5040/- (Hostel) fees + caution deposit.
As today also was quite light, wondered if I should join some "service group". Tossed, You said no. Just writing diary etc takes up so much time. Reading English Literature in Library ⇨ no thoughts of You? Not going for 3rd years' bhajan (as bugged up by their practising in our room?) Dwiteeya Vighnam? In the morning, mind was a little unsteady. Maybe getting up at 5 sharp and ablutions before Suprabhatam will better the situation.
1995-06-03 - Saturday - Timetable changed. Still, only Prof took class - tensors 2 hours, morning. Afternoon, S4 "intro". Election day, Gorantla by-poll, so he was called away. Library - wrote Koenig's method theory. Water for 10 hours daily - shortage. Slept as movie (in quadrangle) was 'Baby's day out'.
Wow! You came in dream, to some meeting, 2 guys onstage were smoking - cigarettes turned to candy. Due to reading Haksar's ITC book? By evening, out of Shruti. First few bhajans OK, then attention wandered. Slept at 8 itself - quite sleepy.

1995-06-04 - Sunday - Morning social work 6:15 to 8 - behind dining hall. They were even clearing the drain! V. hot. Slept till 3. Stapled and taped books (Xerox, VSK Rao) till tape ran out.
Mostly feeling miserable in the heat. Must do something actively to keep mind from idling, but it's too hot! Quite pessimistic, egoistic. My behaviour is not very ideal - deaf ear to film songs on CASIO, sarcastic to 1st year asking about fan in Library ... Mostly moping around.
