Photo from https://saidarshanchannel.wixsite.com/digitaldarshan - the album says it is from 1990, and the location of the above photo is just outside Gopuram gate, when You would go for a drive.
This morning, Shailesh Sir met me on the road, and said, "You're always smiling!"
I replied, "This is something new."
Some thoughts:
- Parents may not agree with the observation that I'm always smiling! But at least when I'm walking down the road, I try to smile, or at least not "un-smile".
- It's also related to the time of the day - when I'm well-fed and rested, I'll be in a good mood, and more likely to be smiling. As is the case after breakfast and after lunch when I'm walking down the road.
- It's a conscious decision, too, since smiling makes us feel better.
- After the previous post, which was when I was feeling a bit low, I got a 'message' from You when an SMS I wanted to send did not go through - I took that as a signal that I am not to report such actions, so I feel a lot of relief like the parable of the house filled with animals.
- It's also a reflection on the prayer of St. Francis - which is apparently mis-attributed to him? - to change what we can, the serenity to deal with what we cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
- Another thought - by definition, anything which makes us think of You is "good", right? So, if we think of You when we see un-optimal actions, thinking maybe, "Sabko sanmati do Bhagawan", then that also becomes a "good" event in our life, right?
