    • Major Attention to Minor Things
    • Power to be used for Good

  3. What is a quality circle?
    Group of people coming together voluntarily to put up problems they have for enquiry and analysis.
  4. 3 things that make people work -
    • Fear of punishment
    • Incentives
    • For joy of working.
  5. What is success?
    Not determined by numbers in balance sheet or by products, but through the process.
  6. What is quality?
    Presence of value, not absence of failure.
  7. Attitudes of groups of working people - Anybody who is involved in a job cares for it - Eg. breaking of stones.
  8. Stages in problem solving - involvement, commitment, caring, understanding, problem identification, and problem solving.
  9. A person who can read yet who doesn't read is as bad as a person who can't read.
  10. Willpower is desire to change.
  11. Who is Rama?
    Parama Purusha or Supreme Being.
  12. Different meanings of Rama -
    • Derived from root Ra - to play
    • Ramayati iti Rama - makes all happy
    • Ramyante Asma Iti Rama - attracts all
    • Ramyante Yogi - in whose everlasting bliss, sages derived ananda
    • Ra - Vishwa, Ma - Eswara - Lord of the Universe.
  13. 3 Beejaksharas in Rama -
    Ra - Agni Beeja - Burns sins
    Aa - Soorya Beeja - Removes darkness
    Ma - Chandra Beeja - Cools mind
    Parasurama born in Agni.
    Rama in Surya Vamsa.
    Balarama in Chandra Vamsa.

    Many say Ramayana first to mention, but Rig Veda mentions, also Ramapoorvatapini Upanishad.

    In Taitreya branch of Krishna Yajur Veda.

  17. Panchaagnis and meanings -
    • Udaraagni - because of hunger
    • Mandaagni - because of overeating
    • Kaamaagni - due to excess of desires and aspirations
    • Shokaagni - dye to sorrow for Lord. Eg. Vishaada Yoga. Keeping Lord and Dharma in mind, sorrow.
    • Badabaagni - due to diseases, death.
