These are probably from the talks in the school assembly which gave a condensed version of the Summer Course talks to all the boys of the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School (VIII to XII). The school assembly in those years used to be in the lobby area as soon as one enters the school building, with students seated in a T-shape along the corridors to the left and right as well as in the centre, facing the staircase.
This is a later photo of the school lobby. In 1991, the murals and sayings were absent, and the chairs were of a different type.

- Mind is called Indra.
- Characteristics of ancient students -
Humility, patience, sacrifice, control of senses, desire to know God, purity of mind. - Climbing the tree, get the fruit as well as shadow fruit.

- Sadhana is unnecessary for one who has grasped the Truth.

- Science - Intellect/Head/Mind - C
Spirituality - Heart - O - Men are more important than all wealth.
- Atma - Akshara, Kshetrajna, Paramatma, S, T, A, I
- Bhuva - belief in basic Creator - reaches Moon.
- Purusha - Vyashti
Purushottama - Samashti - A - Ananta, Aprameya, Ananda
Kshara - Anitya, Asathya
Combination of the two is Akshara.

Sujnana - experienced through mind - helping others
Vijnana - experienced through heart - to please God. - What, Why, How.
- Ekosi sarva bhootaantaraatma. Ekoham Bahusyam.
- Daiva manava - has divine virtues.
- Preyo marga - bondage, sense satisfaction
Sreyo marga - self realization, divine path. - Para vidya - liberation.
Apara vidya - secular skills.
