This morning also late. Thought must do something. Swami decided to do. In the afternoon, had to complete Chem Practical writing work. So no lunch. Decided should vow not to do it again. At 3:45 pm, on the badge given by Swami, vowed never to repeat it. Then mixture (from Harshavardhan), biscuits, milk. Though I was 36.2*, could sit on next to aisle seat, also in front hall of Trayee.
Bhaskar, DIG, spoke humbly. Then Swami spoke of Shirdi Baba. Plato saw in meditation, 5 feet 3 inches. Truth, Goodness, Beauty. Told Alexander. Das Ganu was a policeman. At first, he scoffed. Baba was also 5 feet 3 inches. First in Shirdi in 1854, later permanently in 1859. Swami got driving license. Crane took girders to Parthi. Sandeep (my neighbour at Calicut) got Swami's permission to sing bhajans.
*36.2 - This is a reference to the numbers in the lots which used to be drawn - early in the morning, at 4:30 or earlier in those days - for deciding the order in which we go into Trayee for darshan and Trayee session. The lines used to be three abreast, so the numbers would go as 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1 and so on. 36.2 meant that there were more than a hundred students ahead of me, out of the total strength of 250 or 300.
Next: Trayee session on business again
