1992-08-05 - Wednesday - Rajesh Singh, Srikant M, Raja Ganesh, etc came for doubt clearing. So I gained. Made abbr. notes in pad of Chem. Talked to Kshitij, he wants an ampli-speaker for an electric bulbul-tara of the Hostel.
1992-08-06 - Thursday - Efficacy of name proved. I shaved, still no problem, as sang Bhajans throughout. Wrote Chem Mid Sem. quite well with pen given as prize by Swami, put new refill by breaking open and cello tape. 20 mark question - wrote 3-4 pages. Wrote thanks for B'day letter from Muthachan (maternal grandfather). Narahari Sir asked me to assemble an amplifier for him. Listened to Sports Meet cassette. Didn't study Math 101 till after Bhajans - dreamt about amplifier etc - daydreams. Won cleanest room prize - bread/butter, mixture, cookies, bananas, sweets.
1992-08-07 - Friday - Math 101 got 49, cut because I cut and wrote in bits. Read essays in an advanced Physics book - Particle Physics, STM, NMR, Superconductivity, etc. Decided to make a continuity tester and amplifiers after mid-sem. Ordered components.
1992-08-08 - Saturday - Physics kalakki (meaning I did well in the exam.) A3 came, wished (me on my birthday). Sikki, Sandeep and Srikant gave cards. A3 are staying in College guest house. For that, I went to Mr. Bhutia's house beyond Trayee. Wrote letter to Swami - superb present of a new me.
1992-08-09 - Sunday - Taught Math 102 LP to 5-6 fellows - completed whole portion. Rajesh Singh says will work hard and get O (Outstanding, 80%+) grade.
1992-08-10 - Monday - LP paper was very easy - finished it off. Read Sanskrit 2 hours - over. Read books brought by Amma (Mother) - only Math dictionary useful for me. Have kept Swami's picture cards in cupboard nicely, with the sword-like broken mirror pieces of Desikan. Also one thermocol based empty refill in which to impale chits of borrowed books etc. Keeping clothes on hanger - excess in cupboard. A3 (parents and sister) returned - stay at Parthi was crowded.
1992-08-11 - Tuesday - Sanskrit was also easy. Talked to A3, they told me some stories of the person in whose house they live. He came from US just to serve at canteen. Swami helped him to catch a thief in his house - vibhooti came and went.
1992-08-12 - Wednesday - English was also turned easy by Swami. Thus, all exams over. No class in the afternoon. Read Joy of Computers.
