1992-12-02 - Wednesday - Today started well. Reading story of Bill Gates' Microsoft Corp. Got 47.2 (in lots for darshan) but happy, because conscience is clear. Ran 1 ½ rounds (of the ground) today, to gradually increase. This diary is really too small for all events in Swami's presence. Morning, got thrown sweet (in those days, Swami used to throw toffees from trays taken by birthday boys as in the image below) from MRG.
Bhajans in Kalyanamantapam. In Trayee session, Swami told MAK (Anil Kumar Sir, Principal) and then Dr. Reddy (NRI) to speak after Prof Hanumanthappa.
1992-12-03 - Thursday - "Kannada Rajyotsava", film show + speeches in 1st hour.
Got 17.1 (in darshan lots). Sitting next to birthday boy, but Swami avoided giving me a sweet. In the evening, Swami came out early, so all ran to Kalyanamantapam; when Swami was in the aisle, I ran and sat in third row. Everyone ran without numbers for the Trayee session, so I was at the back.
Swami told us the story of the Saptharshis + Arundhati + Kanthaa + Paashyaka. Also story of Chaitanya and Chandala Haridasa, story of kid taking mango, becoming thief. Lots of expressions, faces, joking. 45 minutes Discourse. Every small action is important. Faith is essential. There itself, in the Kalyanamantap, charged. Do Duty for Rights, Body is boat. "Sulakshana" Hanuman's wife. Don't dip matchstick in samsara. Security if fear.
Then Swami came out after we returned (to the Hostel), we ran, got padanamaskar with Swami in slippers, went to Shed (Sai Ramesh Hall), took a foreigner's letter, went next to me, saw Bhangra (to be performed for the inauguration) at the Mantap, Kshitij started playing (Harmonium) in front of Swami, returned next to me.
