Swami went to Tumkur to open some factory after morning darshan. A2 (parents) went for registering the property sale, after Amma (Mother) attended talk at Kalyanamantapam. Achan (Father) was waiting on the Hostel steps (!) as the registration he was supposed to attend was later. Amma is reading Microverse. I packed stuff. A suitcase for things to remain at home, the big green suitcase and a carton box for bedclothes and others I won't need for Summer Course, the rest in my bucket and bed. No clothes for home, only undies.
Swami came back in the Toyota (Registration number written with chalk), went straight in - we were waiting outside Trayee, taking a chance. You were squeezed in the back seat along with two others. Went straight up. Darsan, bhajan, almost as usual, except a shorter round.
Rain started as soon as You went out. A2 - just a few words, Amma quoting from "Daddy Longlegs", Achan about registering the plot, agreed to meet tomorrow: not today as it's raining. Amma seems very happy, but not Achan. He seems to have a vacuum. Prime Sports - divine retribution? No power at the cable-guy's place, so last 10 overs no telecast relay. India lost too, NZ hitting 9 off the last over.
Today, something happened to me. Reading "Guruvayurappan" stories, later during bhajans, eyes filled. Could be due to excessive negative ions in the air - stormy. But then, Shailesh Sir told me about how Swami arranged for his Kodai trip, I'm feeling You're with me. Film "Back to the Future" - I wrote diary in that time.
Shailesh Sir's story - dream a year back, get things ready for Kodai - Jagan Mohan Rao Sir telling him. (At that time, Jaganmohan Rao Sir was walking behind Swami darshan time, taking letters off His hands and so on.) Then, Swami's interview recently, "Desire hai, na?" He said, "Yes", boldly. Swami first joked about marriage, then, "Kodaikanal" in a whisper to Raman Mehta. Another dream - "When are you finishing your research?" And Swami said, "PhD Aur Shaadi together". (As Swami has explained in other places, true marriage is to merge in the divine.)
