1994-07-08 - Friday - Blood bank tales

Bhajan at Sai Ramesh Hall - 1992-'94. From my "Swami albums".

Woke only at 5:05, not despite, but because of ACM (Advanced Classical Mechanics) test! Yogasanas - Sir didn't turn up. Hair cut. Comp. Practicals till 1:20 - did a Matrices Menu program with Rajesh Singh - sharing, as one machine is out of order. Fruitful partnership - he types fast, I debug. No time to do last-minute cramming. 5th chapter complete blank. But it was an open-book test! And simple vector analysis problems. Swami saved me for the 2nd time today. (1st was Yoga - I had run to reach on time, Sir absent). Sir, boys, happy - Santosh helped him worked out a text problem.

Dr. Bhatia (the Blood Bank in-charge at SSSIHMS at that time) in Trayee - terrific. Swami gave ultimate compliment - talking of blood went into the blood of listeners. Swami's refusal of 101 crores, JK Irani (TISCO), getting SSSIHL furniture to SSSIHMS on 21st night (before the inauguration of SSSIHMS on 22nd), Mr. Reddy (CM's brother)'s case, Shafeeq Ahmed of Abohar, etc. "Very happy", said Swami.

Study hours - time not used properly. If sleepy, I must change work, for rest is change of work. That's what I'm doing now, writing this on SUN, 8:20 pm.

Swami rebuked Sai Giridhar Sir for urging the sevadal to open the door with violent gestures - quite apologetic.
