This is probably a continuation of yesterday's Discourse, written on the page of 3rd Aug 1994. Or perhaps a Trayee session of 3rd Aug.
As is the thought, so is the luck. 3 Kings at Jesus' birth -
1 -> God is loved by him,
2 -> God loves him
3 -> He is God.
Devadoota is one who does His command. Then He will love. Finally, both are One. Give, to get from God. Bank cheque - sign to get own money. Fishermen gave bread to Jesus, got lots of fish. Krishna Tulabhaaram - gave tulasi, got Krishna.
No use reading - must practice. Real love is to God. Others are just passing clouds. Acknowledgement of friend's receiving registered letter - becoming One. When tie mangalasootram, property rights, too - becoming One - When He says You are Mine. Taddinam is remembering deceased and shedding a tear. Not rituals as a bore. Sraadha - one done with Shraddha (steafastness). Nanak poured water from the Ganges up - "To my fields in Punjab, just as you throw to deceased!"
Bell at temple - calling bell. Coconut - grace water. Arati - dark Praakaara - Tamas. Temple - Rajas. Sanctum - Satwa. No windows as lamps may be extinguished.
Pachaamyannam chaturvidham - chewed, swallowed, drunk, cut?
Remove water for Him to fill milk in the container. He thinks, how can I help him? What did he do to deserve? God is as near as you feel. Do good, be in good company. Forest fire burns mango as well as neem. Bad company example - Bheeshma (because of company of Kauravas, was on the wrong side), Flit (is sprayed, and all the mosquitoes are affected).
Offer all actions to God. Offer Food to God. Then work will be transformed into worship. There is nothing bad in creation - only defects in vision. Daya, Prema, Sahaanubhuti - Nivritti. Follow Swadharma, not fashion - pants man wears dhoti to meet Guru.
Old - long life - Oxygen in forest, villages. Selfish - mental pollution. Today, people don't think of what they can do for society with what they have studied, only of what job, how much money. Give up bad, Love good. Don't have secrets with God - even in bathroom, He's there. Rose cut and offer to God, leave thorn. Faith that He knows all is LOVE -> turns you to God. To boy who said, "You didn't talk to me" - talked to all, can't speak individually.
