Dream as woke up - You were there, that's all I remember now. Too cool before exam, too tensed up during exam. That's the story. But You helped a lot - got stuck at the first question - You bailed me out. Whole afternoon wasted in newspapers. That too, furtive glances. Why furtive? Can I hide from You? Anyway, when the monkey mind said, 'Just check upon that bit', the eyes agreed - creating bad memories, thought tracks which must be somehow sandpapered over. When I'm with You in the true sense, Your heat melts them to some degree. But what can be done if I rebuild them again?
Vishnuvardhan (roommate) is totally cut off from his room-mates, by deliberate design - doesn't even reply except doubts of the higher echelon - O. Srinivas, Mahesh Karwa, etc not Sampath. Somehow, tears come when I think of him. Poor fellow - studying so hard, doing his best not to talk or even look at others, only of our room, not to make others feel bad. I admire his will power. I can't do similarly - have to tell the fellows to switch lights off etc, various things, (as I was one of the room leaders) and if I am very impersonal, they'll feel bad. Help ever, Hurt never. So, I've got to have human relations with them.
SRH (Sai Ramesh Hall) - You went till the gate, talked to the sevadal, then told us to start! Walked right next to us. Trayee - Mr. Victor Kanu and Sathya Sai School Zambia, Anil Kumar Sir - "Amma, Chandralekha!" (Swami used to call those who speak with a lot of gestures, "dancers", and would call them by various female 'dancer' names.)
