1995-05-25 - Thursday - After Bhajan lectures again, but You didn't come ... nor for dinner or lunch. Afternoon 'Anant Jyot' for ATP, Q&A session in dining hall (for the boys). Extension boxes insufficient. Early in the evening - unhurried. After dinner, 7:30 pm - USA boys' drama practice, with Drs KBR & V Ramaniah. They got 3 big stands! Continued till 11, only part practised. KEB (Electricity supply) threatened to fail, but remained ... only 5-10 minutes failed. Generator only 7.5 KVA, so putting off Auditorium lights (back) during Generator runs.

You arranged for the books (the diaries in which I was writing these diary entries as well as discourse note books) to be in SRH (the backstage amplifier room in Sai Ramesh Hall), so that I could watch You during Discourse & take down only points in pad ... You looked at me (?) continuously before speeches during Bhajans - as I sat in front to adjust podium mic. Telling "Slow, dunnapotha" to Anil Kumar Sir ... Bhava Bhaya Harana Vandita Charana.

1995-05-26 - Friday - Umesh Sir working with Generator people in repairing Old Hostel Generator (kept in college) 7.5 KVA extra. Woke at 5:15 or so, ready in time. Afternoon USA boys' practice - Prof KBR & VRaiah refused to come; so had without mics - till 2.30. Night again - 7:30. But S. G. Sir shouted at KBR when the two Profs refused jazz drums et, so that KBR & VRH walked out. I also mixed for a while on the TASCAM, superb, but they still didn't patch up. Finally slept at 11:30 after washing clothes.

Again You allowed me to see You during discourse - taking You in through the eyes ... You sang the songs - Gopikas suffering away from Krishna. Watching You, I didn't write in detail - only cryptic words...

Warden Sir's letter thru S. G. Sir that boys are not allowed onstage - so, mic adjustment must be Prof Venkataramanaiah - didn't know reason, but that job is gone.

1995-05-27 - Saturday - After lunch, the US group had practice with Mr. Naren Ramji mixing. Good. Night (when the drama was being staged in front of Swami and all the Summer Course participants) slide projector only old Phy Lab one worked. So only before 1st scene. Swami was happy, all laughed often. Rings for "Alex" and "Ricki". Had rice and soya brought for them from FC (Western Canteen), slept around 11 pm again.

The USA boys' Aumkar before practice etc paid fruit. Though short of practice, they carried it though and Swami was happy. You came onstage before they started, asking 'who are you in the drama' etc, after drama gave 2 rings, mementos, pen-torch cells, many photos.
