Something must be wrong with us - You're using the excuse of 'Mandir work' to tell us not to come for darshan. Afternoon letters, evening phone calls, no use. Night - video of Your Badrinath trip. Evening video - slow motion - "Dunna potha", Santhanu getting a pat on the cheek, You smiling ... Consolation - when I opened (the diary), got page of a dream of You scattering leaves, me picking up, "How are you?" "Just fine, Swami..." TWD (Unity of Thought, Word and Deed) in studies --> less (distraction and time-waste in trifles.)

1995-06-29 - Thursday - Debate, UG vs PG in moral class - Civilization --> ↑ or ↓ - PG, saying ↑ , won. But only due to Krishna Kumar on their team - KK's histrionics repeated. Another boy - Dear brothers, Chairman, ... I mean Sairam to you. KK's "my worthy opponents" imitated by his "opponents".
Sainath Sir started Jackson. Prof. finished Tensors. Did Landau & Lifshitz from D floor - harmonium in the room, Ravi Shankar et al.
Unfortunate us ... Being Thursday and in Prasanthi Nilayam, not being able to have darshan... But You said the best we can do for working for You would be to sit in the Hostel. Most of the time, I'm drowned in Physics - need a "resonating medium" to think of You - parayanam etc. Meditation session after night prayer - just not able to concentrate.
1995-06-30 - Friday - A/D converter 0803 doesn't seem to be working. Optics - I D curve with laser - abandoned, repeat with steady screen. Prof wants enthusiasm, discussion, and "Report", not "Result". Speed of light using modulated laser (Kallard) - trying for it. S4 - seminar, Venktraghavan (one year senior to us) - very nice - MASM directives. Sai Krishna Rao - not up to the mark - in Guest room - till 5.45 pm. Song practice. (In those days, group songs were the way to ask Swami to talk to us or ask for pardon etc.)
