1995-08-01 - Tuesday - Morning - Prof took one hour - told us to do lots of homework after Mid Semester exams. (There was a mixup - events of Wednesday were written in the space of Tuesday, hence Tuesday has very little info.)
1995-08-02 - Wednesday - C++ brackets program worked. Awareness class after Mid Semester exams, after apologies to Prof (we were very late - nobody knew ...) Bought cloth for kurta, polyester 2.5 m Rs. 150. (This is what I wore for the Convocation in November, as well as for the 1997 Convocation and also maybe the 2019 Convocation.) Withdrawing Rs. 350 - balance 1,900. Haircut.
Today's Aparaadham (mistake) was, not thinking of You even when You were standing in front - mind unbridled. Very cool about exam. Just reading casually ... Cheerful on the whole. Prof's storm as nobody went to his AWR class - (as nobody knew), C++ program (brackets) working, afternoon battling sleep to study Classical Mechanics - Your help --> success. Else errors...
1995-08-03 - Thursday - I and II years UG 9 am exam, PG and III years exam at 1 pm - so, more time to prepare. Confident only around 11 o'clock. But You helped, so OK. 2 hours exam. After bhajans, inertia to start Mathematical Physics. Started Nakahara.
ചൂട് comes only near exams (meaning that the studies warm up only at the last minute) ... now the threshold is only 2-3 hours before exam!
Evening darshan - You called Sanjay Sahni Sir, Ruchir Sir, S4, Janardan Sir, Prof Venkataraman (absent - at Bangalore) Sivaramakrishnaiya Sir for a conference (into the interview room). Upanayanam festival on 23rd August. Boys also. (meaning that current students also can join the Upanayanam ceremony).

1995-08-04 - Friday - Morning - slept from 8:30 to 9:30 - before that also no studies. So, only up to Elasticity by night. General tensors left. Must start early tomorrow. Ate "dry fruits" from fruit stall, grape juice, too. Tiny Rs. 5 coin!
You gave me padanamaskar - walked thru, talked to Venkatachalam Sir (mentioned as Kitchen in-charge in the link below) about somebody, went and talked to devotees, took a guest around explaining (construction to be done?), took some letters from boys, one MBA boy (Harish) interview.
We were singing 'Brahmaanda Nayaka Baba ...' - You came out, asked the Primary School kid "I signed one already, didn't I?" Shook his head - sweet smile, took photo, signed, gave pen back ... again took pen, took cap, closed and gave back - "Otherwise he'll stain himself" ... went to doctors, "Too fat - do jogging" to two of them, Dilip & X, went back inside!

1995-08-05 - Saturday - Mat Phy (Mathematical Physics) long paper - Topology, I hadn't read Manifolds at all before exam. Section A had lots of Manifolds questions. Fever during exam, continued, so that I slept early after dinner. Night - very dizzy during toilet trips.
You're signing photos almost every day. Work on the sliding roof is almost over (in Sai Kulwant Hall).
Rash in leg again (+fever) --> herpes? Ulcer? in mouth, too.
1995-08-06 - Sunday - Dizzy, so no morning darshan. Brunch - sandwiches from sick ward pantry. All right by afternoon. Bath, darshan. No studies till study hours. 13 derivations.
Morning fever --> no darshan. Boys reported You created a ring for some devotee. Evening, You gave clothes to workers (who presumably worked on Sai Kulwant Hall completion work) - a ring also to one of them. Later, sent envelopes to them. Aug 8th caption (the quote at the bottom of the page) in the other diary is "Yearning for God is rewarded by Grace" - do I have yearning? Anticipation ...
1995-08-07 - Monday - Got up at 2nd bell - all lights were off, some were asleep ... Optics revision last minute-y - so that I was late for prayer. Wrote till 3:30! Very first answer bluffed (I(lc)/I(i) derivation skipped steps) Lazed in Mandir, read 8087, collected box for b'day (not tray ...)
Spent such a long time over Optics exam - till 3:30 - that You had come out by the time I hogged and reached Mandir. Rains tested the roof - drizzling inside when pouring outside - You made some gesture to make all laugh (hidden). Telling boys to move, pulling out hair and showing, called Devsen Sir (about marriage!) Coming and talking to Sanjay Sahni Sir to tell Ruchir Sir to collect something, (signing) photos as usual - now boys in front are mobbing ...
Told boys in the room quote unquote to have minimum connections.
