1996-05-15 - Wednesday - Morning darshan, (then we visited) Baleshchettan's (Father's cousin) house - IBM Multimedia PC - hooked up speakers & heard encyclopaedia film clips. Jerky tho' good speed.
1996-05-16 - Thursday - Went to Cheriyamma's (Mother's sister) house, met M & A (Muthachan and Ammamma - my maternal grandparents) - their 57th wedding anniversary today. Jaya cheriamma came for lunch, rescheduling her day. Thammumman showed his face ∼ 11 o'clock, went. Nedungadi mami also there. A (was) emotional while taking leave, M jovial. Both in better shape than Amma imagined. A parcel of books M got for me fell off from the car - lost.
1996-05-17 - Friday - Joined hostel ∼ 10 o'clock. (Room) C4 IInd PG (so that was where I would stay for the Summer Course). Slept 1-3. No Trayee session ⇒ bought stores stuff, washing, money to S4, letter, diary ... Talking to Vishnu (former roommate) & then Shailesh Sir, didn't write letter.
1996-05-18 - Saturday - Pottering about as no Trayee session. Stores waiting most of evening, washing, etc. Money, DD to S4. Letter. Went to college after after dinner to meet KBR & KVR, they said I should be in Aud. & not dining hall serving. (meaning that during the Summer Course, I should be with the mics crew backstage at the Auditorium.)
1996-05-19 - Sunday - After breakfast, lunch and dinner, Auditorium work - setting up. Horns etc & stage mics respectively. Badges (were distributed for the Summer Course in the) evening. S. G. Sir getting podiums made for tomorrow! Returned ~9:30 pm from Auditorium.
