1996-06-10 - Monday - Tried to get MASM & LINK from Dos diskettes in Physics lab - weren't there. Maybe must request for MASM to Microsoft to be included with Dos. Room sweeping - every day a pair of cupboards ⇒ same day of the week each pair, won’t forget. (Wrote a) Letter to Jain sir. Phototransistor gain not enough for optical flip flop. Extra classes after bhajan Thu & Fri.

1996-06-11 - Tuesday - Seminar shifted to Sat as Sikka Sir wanted me to attend his class. V'aiah Sir keeps asking questions & they don’t answer...

 P. Satya late for practicals as overslept... Sikka Sir explained to C. Sathya & me, heterodyne birefringence measurement - can actually see the state of polarization! on oscilloscope.

1996-06-12 - Wednesday - Only class was QM. S4's 2 classes + Sikka Sir’s one ⇒ no. Hunted for PC book Awareness time... Afternoon telling Srinivas voltmeter circuitry etc.

1996-06-13 - Thursday - Morning Prof Anil Kumar, UNIX CXX, then nil. Both VS & KVR didn’t take (their respective classes) ⇒ tried to make bus for PC ext board to outside... 

Heavy rain after lunch ⇒ roads flooded! Knee-deep, as drainage blocked. Maintenance boys removed (the blockage) ⇒ cleared by 4.

 No work ⇒ trying C++ Bhajan program to write Bhajan records into file...

Tried telling Sampath (one year junior to me, was my roommate) to do 15 min Q.M. with me (to prevent flunking). Today dodged, tomorrow? UG results out...

1996-06-14 - Friday - Rain - morning suspended classes, afternoon only Vishwanath Sir took. Extra class after Bhajan - only AV has started now. After class, strange sensation, as if dazzled. Lasted till ~ 10 minutes after dinner. Then OK. Sleeping inside sleeping bag - zip stuck... Sampath says he’ll only mug (learn by rote, without understanding) won't sit with me, won’t even listen to meaning of operator...

1996-06-15 - Saturday - Rain petered to drizzle. Power supply infrequent ⇒ computer time is limited. Dr. Balasubramaniam from AT&T on Data Communications, then my unstructured seminar. After bhajan, testing AND/NOT gates for PC interfacing.

As tomorrow onwards (Swami was going to give daily) discourses, a small talk by S4 - behave properly - to all, before video show: "Babe" – talking pig who thinks he’s a dog. Excellent. Even 3 mice singing choruses.
