1996-07-14 - Sunday - Afternoon slept again, unfortunately. Morning, You didn't go to college, MBA boys interview after Mr. Hira & co interview. QM in study hours - slow progress.
1996-07-15 - Monday - Free hour (3rd) used for scholarship form sending etc. office work. QM review, Thermodynamics assignment, Stat. Mech. reading - all left + reading Signal Analyzer manual & Malvino (for lock-in amp) + Lock-in’s manual + writing article for notice board - & I had to sleep in study hrs as I was feeling poorly!
1996-07-16 - Tuesday - Dr. KVR "laathiadikkukayaanu" - "finished"! IIT Director came during practicals (Kanpur or Madras?) Set up Mach-Zehnder with piezo for him & explained. Finished Signal analyzer during study hours time.
After discourse, till 7:35 pm - did power supplies - nearly all working - labelled.
1996-07-17 - Wednesday - AWR class time pass! Skit, jokes, pick & speak + situation analysis. Only 2, 904 classes S4-5 & S2-3.
Evening shifted TV from store-room to Auditorium, for tomorrow’s quiz. Study hrs UNIX, that also no concentration after ½ hr.
1996-07-18 - Thursday - Morning songs (played over the Hostel PA system as a wake-up call 5 am to 5:30 am) sung by Sanjay Manjrekar - cricketers’ favourites. Commented on "pichi"ness to Rohit Gaur ⇒ whole morning washed out.
Quiz on Swami’s discourses - felt it was dragging, tho' some liked. Teams confusion. Then, "Software Engineering" instead of UNIX practicals ⇒ (mood) out. Was somewhat rude to S⁴ – not looking at him when he spoke etc. But evening You removed all that ⇒ study hrs, finished QM from Schiff.
1996-07-19 - Friday - Signal Analyzer programming with Basic, also done. Repaired 2 power supplies - changed a regulator & a fuse unit respectively.
Shailesh Sir abandoned class because of rain and because he lost mood seeing one of us (KVA or GVR?) reading something in portico during discourse & couldn’t stop (too far). UNIX during study hrs - finished “Tools of the Trade”.
1996-07-20 - Saturday - Devsen Sir’s class took morning session ½. Rest UNIX - didn’t get book ⇒ debugging. Book also has errors / incompatibility.
Night altar work ⇒ Olympics opening ceremony to be shown tomorrow. Worked at beautifying altar till 1.30 am.
1996-07-21 - Sunday - 4 hrs sleep ⇒ sleepy by mid-afternoon.

You gave laddoo in the morning, PC (at noon) ⇒ after seeing altars ~ 1:30 pm, snacks + water - dal vada from New Hostel, Mysore pak from ours. Mono act by 3 school boys, end of session ~ 2:45 pm. Tea from Hostel, back for discourse.
When all went to see Olympics opening ceremony, couldn’t read Stat Mech as too tired ⇒ slept.
