1996-10-15 - Tuesday - 3.45 am started ⇒ could finish (revision of today's Statistical Physics exam material) somewhat by 7.30 am with breaks for pooja (for Navarathri, in dining hall, 6 to 6.15), Suprabhatam, shave only.
Exam - finished paper but 1 or 2 answers were beating about the bush. Afternoon - tho' thought I'd read, 5 min sleep went on till 3 pm! By night (rain ⇒ evening bath) (after Mid-sem S4 part) left, with unstable resonator Math left out.
1996-10-16 - Wednesday - As no "study mood", tho' sat & tried, progress was very slow. By Your encouragement in the evening, could finish one round of double compressed note making, and study hrs reading of Mid-sem portions too. So, confi, if get up tomorrow early…
1996-10-17 - Thursday - After 4 am wakey, reasonably confi for exam, was OK. Win 3.1 Bible from library, Mastering Win 95 from Veerachandrashekar (=VC as mentioned next, who went on to do MTech Computer Science), Programming for Win 3.1 again from VC. Lots of washing (blankets etc.) & other housekeeping chores.
1996-10-18 - Friday - Rainy days. Clothes drying in study room, where boys are now playing mundu cricket. After morning darshan, "social service" cleaning our rooms. My wet towel (which I was using to cover my nose and mouth to protect from dust) fell off once while shifting altar ⇒ sneezes. Rain evening compounded.
Mandir full - crowded - A.P. "Kalashams" of many rivers' waters (like padukas) to do pooja - 50,000 expected by 20th.
