1996-10-30 - Wednesday - After morning work & lunch, read RD & other books (inspirational, How to face interview, etc) in C-14. Slept 5 minutes, bath & mandir. Night phoned A3 (parents and sister), bungled as didn't wish Amma (her B'day) & didn't mention spectacles. Slept at 8 (to get up earlier) after "Spirit & the Mind" from Hostel library.
1996-10-31 - Thursday - Waking (6.15) didn't improve with hitting the sack early, so dining hall saranam gachchaami (meaning that I would sleep in the dining hall so that I would be woken up before Suprabhatam.) Lunch was ordinary, but dinner aloo porotha, noodles, sauce, fruit salad! Then Mandir work fixing glass wool & casing (which had broken) continued from morning, when we had fixed two "halves" on ladies' side "garage" place with clamps. After lunch, library - could do only one rack as referring the book (DDC) delayed. Borrowed "The World of Math", requested Shailesh Sir to correct a XII question paper which another boy requested me to do ...
1996-11-01 - Friday - Morning with Naren Sir collecting cables & mics from KBR Sir, from Poornachandra auditorium didn't get any, and horns from planetarium for Appalavaallapalli. Afternoon slept, evening 3 Asterixs from Hostel library + "Lokanatha Sai" + read "... different drum" when free.
