1996-11-22 - Friday - A little QED, then (read) "The shoes of the fisherman" - (pope's story) by Morris West, from Praneet, till evening 3. So, nothing else. Waiting for (the convocation) drama (to begin), bhajans suddenly, so instead of reading, sang. Mics failed 1 & 2 scenes as only a hanging (high) mic and 3 small mics. Later, put in 7 big mic stands, OK. Dialogues and acting were good, except that the "Samiti scene" seemed contrived with three songs. Sanatan Sharma's dream and the Parthi trip, where slides were shown, were hits. Dialogues, too.

1996-11-23 - Saturday - In the morning, all students entered through the ladies' entrance of bhajan hall as there was an unruly crowd outside. Miraculously, slippers are intact! Felt uncharitable towards the holidaying multitudes from nearby ... "The Prayer of the Frog" Antony de Mello collection of "prayerful" jokes ("meditations") afternoon and evening, music program ending at 8 pm ⇒ I could hunt in TR Sridhar's cupboard (B16) and take Srimad Bhagavatam for tomorrow.
