Introduction

The motivation to make my diary publicly accessible online, came from this series of experiences of Brindavan students,

Even listening to "routine" or day-to-day experiences with Swami, gives us so much joy. Many lessons are hidden even in these every-day interactions - living with God is true education. These experiences from my diary span the 1990s and 2000s.

As you can see from the photograph above, due to space constraints, the actual writing in the diary is condensed, a lot of 'prior knowledge' is assumed,  short-forms are used. There will also be references to individuals who have not given me explicit permission to include them in this public work. So, I've done some editing, and many people would be named only as initials. I'll give links to 'public figures' - those who have given public talks and so on. Throughout this diary, the second person pronoun You refers to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. whom we affectionately refer to as Swami.
