Turn desire to(wards) God - else, adding firewood increases fire. Don't think I'm telling boys Vairaagyam - just because I say, it won't come, either! Bhaagavata is bridge over samsaara. Samkara, Bhajagovindam. Vyaasa, Vaalmiki, ultimately devotion. Only after step of devotion will liberation come. Chaduvu (studies) - useless. But you have stomach, so you must study. (But Chaitanya's story - got food under tree as disciples were hungry.) If 'Raksha maam Sharanaagatam', (surrender completely) will protect. Sita's reply to Rama - shame if you can't protect a woman, being protector of the world. (when Rama asked her to remain in Ayodhya and not come to the forest due to the dangers in the forest.) You are Rama Chandra, I am Sita - rays. Rays can't be away from Chandra!

Chaduvu (book learning) is useless - a dhobi is better - he can bring back right clothes to the right people without book learning. But you miss sometimes - that he does intentionally! Kanchi big swami died in Dakshinaayana without anyone giving water - worldly position is not important, devotion is. He used to push widows and low-castes aside.
