1996-12-04 - Wednesday - Read O Henry in the dark room 1st hour as Vishwanath Sir went for Sikka Sir's sister's wedding. KVR lengthy incoherent protestations over last Saturday's 3 of us going to Compu lab. Nuke experiment - 8 minute waits for each isotope's data acquisition... 500 seconds. Night cheese, then pizza c/o CSNK and O Henry in C floor (room over Nageshwar Rao Sir's room) after a full packet (around 15) of Glucose biscuits in anticipation of KVR work (at 6 pm) which never turned up.
1996-12-05 - Thursday - UG mono-acting - only mics had to be put - amps (TZA) and speakers were readied by Naren Sir c/o suspected Visit. Except getting printout of I/O signals and FFT of the AM experiment, nothing, as next we're to do digital (electronics experiments): A/D, shift register, AM with AOM, Schmitt trigger, Shift, D/A. Achan (Father) came with Kerala group of 500, for Kerala visit (asking You to visit Kerala.)
1996-12-06 - Friday - Whole day went around in the same sweatered manner. Evening, after Sandipan Sir's Sathyam Shivam Sundaram meeting (probably for Sports Meet, Jan 11 1997, I guess) Achan gave antibiotics to Sai Mahesh for me.
1996-12-07 - Saturday - Heard from PSN that KBR was caught AWOL by GV yesterday & that he was kicking up a big fuss. Morning wasted computer time as KVR wanted all six of us for Nuclear Physics Practicals.
1996-12-08 - Sunday - Morning (we went) direct to Institute Auditorium (instead of Mandir, today being Sunday), Valedictory of SBMAF Workshop on National and Rural Development. (In those days, the MBA department was SBMAF - School of Business Management And Finance) Finished O Henry's Collected Stories in the rest of the time. Achan & co would've left at 3 pm.
